ANGERS, the beautiful city situated 45 minutes from Villepot and could be the highlight of your visit to Brittany. Angers is a UNESCO world heritage site.
GUERANDE, home of the world famous salt marshes with its walled town are well worth a visit. A paradise for birds, the canals and delightful thatched cottages of Briere, incredibly picturesque fishing ports and the Nantes vineyards. Going deeper into the lush countryside to seek out the magic of the enchanted forest of Broceliande where the legendry magician Merlin reputedly lived!!
VITRE, ancient town just 35 minutes from Villepot with its magnificent fortress and quaint unspoiled historic quarters, shops restaurants and bars will be sure to please.
CHATEAUBRIANT, discover Chateaubriant just 15 minutes from Villepot. The town boasts a Medieval and Renaissance Castle, bars, restaurants, weekly market, large supermarkets and many cultural events.
The Green Path at ROUGE runs along the former railway line for 13km to Chateaubriant - Messac taking you through a protected environment and far from every day traffic! Ideal for walking and cycling.
