A green heaven from Spring onwards and in to the long warm autumn days. Located on the West coast, Brittany has a warm and temperate climate. In the summer temperatures can reach up to 30 degrees. Sit and watch a beautiful sunset or gaze in wonder at the starry night. Breton skies are famous day and night!
Brittany’s unique character is a blend of Cornish splendour and distinctive Breton culture. Walking, cycling, fishing, horse riding, golf, hot air ballooning are all activities readily available in our region along with the many gastronomic delights in store with sea food restaurants and créperies serving the famous gallettes filled with cheeses, vegetables and seafood washed down with a nice glass of Breton cider.
Visit RENNES and its historical quarters or stroll through the famous market with the vast selection of regional produce on sale. Sample the cheeses, wines and ciders, honey, breads, olives and more. Sidewalk cafes abound amid the streets of sophisticated shops including Gallerie La Fayette and the beautiful Parliament building sits in a large impressive square.

Reach Rennes by car (35 minutes) and park free of charge at the metro station which will take you in to the centre of Rennes
NANTES, city of art and culture with splendid castle and battlements. Stroll around the chic shopping boulevards with interesting cafes and bars (including the famous ‘la Cigale Brasserie’ ) www.lacigale.com.

ANGERS, the beautiful city situated 45 minutes from Villepot and could be the highlight of your visit to Brittany. Impressive castle, cathedral and the famous ‘Apocalypse Tapestry’ to be seen within the castle, an exciting mix of old and new and a very vibrant place to visit. Angers is a UNESCO world heritage site.
GUERANDE, home of the world famous salt marshes with its walled town are well worth a visit. Stroll through charming cobbled streets and admire the beautiful buildings, church, shops and then take a coffee or a meal at one of the many tempting Breton restaurants offering delicious seafood and of course the gallettes and crepes served with scrumptious fillings!
A paradise for birds, the canals and delightful thatched cottages of Briere, incredibly picturesque fishing ports and the Nantes vineyards. Going deeper into the lush countryside to seek out the magic of the enchanted forest of Broceliande where the legendry magician Merlin reputedly lived!!
VITRE, ancient town just 35 minutes from Villepot with its magnificent fortress and quaint unspoiled historic quarters, shops restaurants and bars will be sure to please.
CHATEAUBRIANT, discover Chateaubriant just 15 minutes from Villepot. The town boasts a Medieval and Renaissance Castle, bars, restaurants, weekly market, large supermarkets and many cultural events.
The Green Path at ROUGE runs along the former railway line for 13km to Chateaubriant - Messac taking you through a protected environment and far from every day traffic! Ideal for walking and cycling.
